This zine is the final outcome part of my L5 Social Awareness Module 2026

This zine was created as part of my L5 Social Awareness module for my Illustration BA at the University of Portsmouth.

All of the images were found on Google and Bing, which were sourced from various news sites and charities. As stated above, it transpires that the majority of the images used by these websites were sourced originally from stock image sites.

The pages above are those that were included in the zine, the images below are some shots of my printed zine that I produced myself at home. This was originally a group project, however, due to unforeseen circumstance I worked on this independently. As a consequence, in order to fulfil the brief and the learning outcomes, time became a factor. So, rather than printing at University using the Faculty equipment, I produced the zine at home using a laser printer, keeping it simple and basic, and printed to the cheapest production parameters according to zine tradition.

The two slides below the zine images were included in my research Padlet. These I produced using Affinity Photo.
